Board of Directors
Our 2017 Board of Directors represents all aspects of the Chamber membership. We try and ensure that we have a diverse group of experts on our board that represent small business and larger businesses in the community. It is our Board’s expertise and advice that helps in shaping current and future plans for the Cherry Creek Chamber. The Board meets each month to review goals and membership to ensure that the Chamber stays on task. Annually the Board meets for a half day board retreat in which plans are set for the upcoming year.

My background is in both finance and sales. I was a stock trader on the institutional side at an investment bank in San Francisco for six years. I then worked for both Pfizer and Merck in specialty physician sales for six years. I graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, with a Bachelors Degree in 1995. This previous education and work experience has given me an edge in negotiation as well as marketing and networking sales.
I love Denver and am looking forward to living here for the rest of my life. My husband, Mark, our dog Winnie, and I live in West Wash Park. Selling real estate is my dream job, and I love putting happy clients in homes!
Karrie Fletcher is the President and Branch Manager of Alpine Bank in Cherry Creek. She has been with Alpine Bank since 1996 where she has had experience with all aspects of banking services. In August of 2014, Karrie relocated from the Western Slope of Colorado to Denver where she now focuses on building customer relationships and lending.
Karrie has former Chamber Board experience and has served on many other non-profit boards in Western Colorado. In her spare time, Karrie enjoys being outdoors, traveling, eating at new restaurants and spending time with her husband Jason and two children, Haley and Gavin.
Jennifer L. Taylor is a Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking at ANB Bank in Denver, Colorado. She prides herself in delivering excellent customer service with a focus in commercial real estate and construction financing. Jennifer has 22 years of banking experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Indiana University.
Ms. Taylor is involved with several charitable organizations including Operation Hope, Home Aid Colorado, and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Passionate about good health and fitness, she holds several fitness certifications including Personal Trainer through ACE and Group TRX. In her free time she enjoys travel, tennis, golf, Pilates, and taking long walks with her husband, Mark and their two dogs.
ROBERT ”BOB” STEWART

Bob is the Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of AAA Colorado, Inc. and has been with the club since 2012. Bob moved to Colorado in 1982 after growing up in Montana and graduating from Montana State University. Bob started his career as a practicing CPA after which he served as Vice President and CFO for businesses in athletic club ownership and management, wholesale insurance brokerage, and highway construction.
Bob is passionate about community involvement which includes volunteering and holding offices in Jaycees, Kiwanis, Junior Achievement, and Colorado Contractors Health Trust. Bob is also active in his church at a local community level.
In his spare time Bob enjoys family time with his wife, three children and two granddaughters. Bob spends time golfing, fishing and working with wood.
Christine Des Enfants

Christine Des Enfants has been the Executive Director of the Cherry Creek Chamber of Commerce since October 2007. Her background includes working in sales and distribution in the publishing world for Time Inc. and Conde Nast Publications as well as owning an IT Business and a Travel Triathlon business. Between the world of corporate and private business she developed a passion for helping small businesses succeed. The combination of connecting and educating companies in the Cherry Creek Community has driven this boutique chamber to be a very successful and welcoming organization under her direction.
Lisa Altenburg is the owner of Y.Lo Epicure Corporate and Custom Catering in Denver, Colorado. Lisa was raised in Columbus, Ohio, but has also spent time living in South Carolina and Australia before moving to Denver in 2004.
She is woman who’s had dreams of entrepreneurship her entire life, specifically owning a restaurant. The service industry had always been in the background of her life in many different forms- working for small, family owned establishments, corporate chains, and hotels.
After graduating with a degree in finance from Clemson University, she had the idea in her head that she would become a very successful stockbroker, however the lifestyle that comes with that career didn't align with the lifestyle she wanted for her future. It took some real soul-searching to really determine that her skill set and passion lay in the food service industry.
When the opportunity to purchase Y.Lo Epicure came up, she decided to take a leap of faith and follow her dreams. Eight years later, Y.Lo Epicure is Denver's preferred caterer for exceptional food and service.
A native of Missouri, Brian spent his childhood vacations on Colorado’s slopes. It was his love of downhill skiing and the Colorado outdoors that brought him to the University of Colorado School of Law. Brian lives with his wife and fellow bar member, Marlo Greer-Proffitt, and daughters, Mackenna and Evangeline, in the Denver area.
Brian Proffitt focuses his practice in the areas of hospitality law, commercial litigation, and related commercial transactions. Brian provides alcoholic beverage licensing and regulatory compliance advice to restaurants, bars, night clubs, breweries, wineries, distilleries, and other retail outlets throughout Colorado.
Brian also advises business owners in the hospitality industry to assist them with the diverse and complex regulatory issues found throughout the Front Range, mountain communities, and Western Slope’s many municipalities and communities.
Brian’s litigation practice goes hand-in-hand with his licensing and regulatory work by assisting clients in a host of issues including landlord-tenant disputes, mechanic’s lien disputes, and general commercial issues.
Lisa McInroy is in her third year Secretary for the Cherry Creek North Chamber of Commerce. For the past 10 years she has worked for Western Development Group – a local developer and owner of mixed use projects, specializing in the Cherry Creek North area of Denver. As their Vice President of Property Management she has been actively involved in Western’s acquisition of properties, reviewing new development opportunities from an operations standpoint, and for the ongoing leasing and operations of Western’s 300,000 square foot portfolio of office and retail assets. Lisa also serves as a commercial board representative on multiple HOA’s that govern the mixed use (condominium and commercial) projects, also developed by Western in Cherry Creek North.
Lisa started her career 25 years ago working for a small developer in the San Francisco Bay area. Since that time she has reported to large institutional clients such as The Fire and Police Pension Fund, as well small local developers in the Denver area, and has overseen both third party and company owned assets, and has managed suburban and downtown locations. However, her heart is in Cherry Creek North, where she has worked closely with retailers, owners and the Business Improvement District for the last 15 years, and is proud to have been a part of the area’s explosive growth.
In her spare time Lisa has been actively involved with the Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies and the Cherry Creek Art’s Festival. She is an avid runner and practicing yogi, whose greatest accomplishment this far has been raising twins who will be college bound next year!
David Chiavacci is the Director of the Advisor Solutions Group for Colorado. In this role, he oversees the distribution of all Janus related products and provides Janus Labs practice management and consulting services for RIAs, wirehouses, banks and independent firms. Mr. Chiavacci also serves on the board of the Janus Foundation, is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Colorado and completed The Human Performance Institute’s Corporate Athlete Course®, a science-based energy management course designed to strategically help participants become more productive and effective under pressure by managing their energy more effectively. Prior to joining Janus in in October 2012, he was a Portfolio Specialist at Merrill Lynch.
During his 18 years of experience in the financial industry, Mr. Chiavacci has held various leadership roles in wealth management including positions with Branch Management and being a Senior Financial Advisor. He holds the CIMA® & CFP® designations, has an MBA in Finance from Johns Hopkins University, received a business degree from Frostburg State University, and attended executive education from the Wharton School of Business. Before beginning a career in financial services, Mr. Chiavacci was an Army Officer for four years where he led a Reconnaissance Platoon. He attended Army Airborne School as well as Army Air Assault School.
Mr. Chiavacci lives near Denver with his wife Laura and two young children, Jack and Kate. He enjoys outdoor activities with his family including camping, skiing and golfing.

Julie Bulatovic is President of B&B Spas and R & R Spas, dba Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spas (Cherry Creek and Westminster) and a Realtor at HighGarden Realestate in Cherry Creek, Colorado. Julie is a graduate of Connecticut College, where she received a BA in International Relations and she attained a Masters Degree In Real Estate and Construction Management from The University of Denver.
After graduation Julie launched her career in real estate development specializing in commercial real estate constriction and development. With an emphasis on tenant leasing, Julie worked the next fifteen years leasing, designing and building over 1 million square feet across the United States. As Vice President and partial owner of a local real estate development firm, Julie served on many committees, established numerous protocols to grow her department. Soon afterward, her expertise in managing the business, she decided to become a business owner.
Finding a franchise spa named Hand& Stone Massage and Facial spa, Julie opened two locations that presently operate in Cherry Creek and Westminster, CO. Julie used her finance and real estate background to manage all the real estate aspects for these businesses. She still owns the locations. After successfully growing the business past break even, she returned to real estate in the commercial world and added residential sales to her experience. Julie presently serves on the Board of Directors for the Cherry Creek Chamber of Commerce. She is a mom, wife and loves to ski, play tennis and enjoy the outdoors.
Robert C. Runco
Robert Runco founded Runco Law to focus on Colorado and Nevada's regulated industries. Mr. Runco provides licensing, regulatory, and commercial transaction advice to clients of all sizes, from bars, restaurants and liquor stores to brewers, wineries and distillers. Mr. Runco also works closely with casinos, hotels and other hospitality businesses to ensure their continued success.
With a focus on closely held corporations and LLCs, Mr. Runco is a seasoned business attorney who advises large and small corporate clients on a variety of business matters. Mr. Runco works with clients in all stages of the business cycle, from start-up and contract negotiations to mergers, acquisitions and succession planning. He helps many small business reach their goals of becoming strong players in their industries.
Rick is a Financial Advisor with Baird’s Denver office in Cherry Creek. He grew up in Rockford, IL and has been a Colorado resident since 1999. He graduated from Carthage College in Kenosha, WI with a BS in Business Administration.
As an active member of his community, Rick has served on numerous local non-for-profit boards, and is past President of the Rockford (IL) East Rotary Club and the University of Colorado Parents Association. He currently serves on the Cherry Creek Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Cherry Creek Theatre Board of Directors.
Rick is a resident of Cherry Creek and has two sons, Daniel and David. In his free time he enjoys golf, tennis, skiing, traveling and playing acoustic guitar.
After attending Cornell University, Tony Walker moved to the West Coast to start Global 2000, a computer networking company. After six years, he moved again to Denver, Colorado, with dreams of opening a full-service restaurant. There, he met his future business partner and together, they opened the Spicy Pickle sandwich shop in the summer of 1999. The Spicy Pickle took off and Walker opened nearly 100 locations before taking the company public and later selling it. A year later, Walker was approached to join the team at Marg’s Taco Bistro. After opening six locations, Walker sold the business. Today, Walker, who considers himself a serial entrepreneur, is out looking for his next adventure. In the meantime, you can find him snowboarding, fly fishing, watching the Denver Broncos, and, of course, spending time with his wife and three children.
Jay Fraze joined Cherry Creek Chamber Board in 2006. He managed the conversion of the Chamber Financials to QuickBooks and the Membership Database to the ChamberMaster Member Management System. He designed Chamber sales and marketing materials and started a new membership recruiting program. Jay's primary activities at the Chamber are new member recruiting, member renewals and retention, sponsor recruiting, quarterly New Member Briefings and Cherry Creek business/residential communication. He also helps members become more visible and successful in the Chamber; including using the Chamber web site, member to member interaction, volunteer opportunities, 1 on 1 meetings, leads groups, company messaging, branding and advertising.Jay moved to Denver in 1995 from NYC, where he worked on Wall Street and then in high tech sales and sales management. In Denver, he continued in technology sales, sales management and direct mail advertising and marketing. He has lived in Cherry Creek North since 1999 and is passionate about the success of the business and residential community. In his free time, Jay enjoys bicycling, hiking, the arts, photography and golf. He is a founding Board member of the Cherry Creek Theatre. Jay has 2 children who live with their families in Tucson, AZ and Louisville, KY. Many other family members live in the Denver community.
With more than 20 years of hospitality experience, JoAnn Wrenn has served as the General Manager of the JW Marriott Denver Cherry Creek since August 2014. Her other previous management experience includes serving as the General Manager of Denver’s Curtis, a Doubletree by Hilton, as well as senior management roles The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island in Florida, The Paramount Hotel in New York, the Wyndham Bristol Hotel in Washington, D.C. and the Wyndham Copley Plaza in Boston. Wrenn has been honored with numerous awards, including receiving Sage Hospitality’s Rookie of the Year, Property of the Year, Community Service Award, Excellence in Profit Performance and Excellence in Revenue Performance while at the Curtis. She also earned the President’s Award at Wyndham Hotels and the Golden Circle Silver Level at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company for being in the top 6% of all sales people.
The JW Marriott was honored as one of the “Best Hotels in the American West” for 2016 by Condé Nast Traveler, the “Best Hotel with Meeting Space in Metro Denver” for 2016 by Colorado Meetings + Events and one of the “2016 Best Hotels in Denver” by U.S. News & World Report.
